Terms of use
Last updated 8 October 2026
These terms cover teachers who subscribe to Tutti Studio and the families who use it free through their teacher. By creating an account or using Tutti, you agree to them.
The service
Tutti Studio (“Tutti”, “we”) gives private music teachers a term calendar, lesson notes, practice tracking for families, and invoicing. We're improving it all the time, and features may change.
Teacher accounts
- You must be 18 or over and run your own teaching business.
- Keep your login details safe; you're responsible for what happens in your account.
- You decide what student and family information goes into Tutti. Only add families you teach, and tell them you use Tutti (our privacy policy explains what happens to their information).
- Your lesson prices, invoices, GST and tax obligations are yours. Tutti calculates GST from the settings you choose.
Free trial, plans and cancelling
- New studios get a 14-day free trial. No card is needed until you choose a plan.
- Plans are Solo ($19 a month or $190 a year) and Ensemble ($39 a month or $390 a year), in Australian dollars, GST included. See pricing.
- Subscriptions renew automatically and are billed by Stripe.
- Cancel any time from Plan & billing. You keep access until the end of the period you've paid for. We don't refund part-periods, except where the law requires it.
- If we change prices, we'll email you at least 30 days before the change applies to you.
Card payments from families
- If you turn on card payments, you set up a Stripe account through Tutti and agree to Stripe's Connected Account Agreement. Payments go to your bank account, less Stripe's fees. Tutti doesn't take a cut.
- You're responsible for refunds and disputes (chargebacks) on payments made to you. If a refund, dispute or fee leaves your Stripe balance negative, you agree to repay it; Tutti may recover it from future payments or ask you to pay it directly.
- Families can always pay you another way, such as bank transfer.
Families
Tutti is free for parents and students. They use it through their teacher's studio, and their information is handled as our privacy policy describes. Questions about lessons or invoices go to the teacher; questions about Tutti itself go to us.
Fair use
Don't use Tutti to break the law, upload anything you don't have the right to share, send spam, or try to get into other people's accounts or disrupt the service. We may suspend accounts that do.
Your content
What you put into Tutti (students, notes, invoices) stays yours. You give us permission to store and process it only to run the service for you. If you close your account, email us and we'll delete your studio's information.
If something goes wrong
We work hard to keep Tutti running and your information safe, but we can't promise it will always be available or error-free. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. Otherwise, to the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect losses, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
Changes and contact
We'll email teachers before any change to these terms that matters takes effect. These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Contact us at hello@tuttistudio.app.
